"My kids were OBSESSED"
Okay, I did not expect my kids to get this into it, but they were completely hooked. The stories are so fun and creative that they acted like I’d uncovered some magical treasure chest of entertainment. Total hit in our house
"Good shows, but accessibility info could be easier to find"
We had a nice time at Children’s Theatre. I’d say we were there for around 2 hours, and overall it felt welcoming for different kinds of families. The staff were friendly, and my kid seemed comfortable and included, which counts for a lot.
The only thing is that the accessibility info on the website took me maybe 10 or 15 minutes to really track down. Details about seating and sensory needs could be laid out more clearly. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, just one of those things where a little more clarity would make it easier for more families.

"Fun show, but a little pricey"
We had a good time at the Children’s Theatre, and the kids stayed into the show for most of it, which is always a win.
Maybe it’s just me, but for the price, I was expecting a little more overall. Once you add in tickets, parking, and snacks, it gets expensive quickly for a family outing.
It definitely wasn’t a bad experience, and I’m glad we went. I just think it’s more of a once-in-a-while treat for us rather than something we’d do regularly
"Staff was helpful, even if the site made me work for it"
I had a good experience with Children's Theatre overall. The staff were genuinely kind and helped me sort out the tickets without acting like I was bothering them, which was refreshing. The only thing was that the website took a little longer than it probably should have to find what I needed, but maybe that’s just part of the charm. Still, everything worked out and I’m happy with it.

"I was expecting a little more from the..."
I was expecting a little more from the stage design, but it actually felt flat overall. A few of the sets looked nice from a distance, but once you looked closer, they seemed kind of cheap and not that creative. The lighting was a little confusing too, and in some scenes it didn’t really match the mood. The kids still had some fun, so it wasn’t a total miss, but for the ticket price, I actually thought the whole look of the show should’ve been better

"Honestly, the show was kind of a letdown"
I really went into this wanting to enjoy it, so I was bummed that it didn’t land for us. The whole performance just felt a little flat, like the energy never really picked up. A few of the actors seemed like they weren’t totally confident with what they were doing, and there were several moments where the timing felt off enough that it pulled me out of the show. My kids usually stay engaged at performances like this, even if it’s not amazing, but they started getting bored about halfway through, which was a big sign for me. Maybe we happened to catch them on an off day, and I do get that live shows can vary, but for what we paid, I didn’t feel like it was worth it

"Strong Cast and Solid Performances"
I thought the cast was really good overall. The acting felt solid to me, and even if the story wasn’t anything too surprising, the performances made it enjoyable to watch.

"I’m really happy I picked this up..."
I’m really happy I picked this up for the kids. I wanted something that wasn’t just another way to keep them busy, but actually helped them learn too, and this did exactly that. They learned a lot and still had fun every single time, so I feel like it was definitely worth it.

"The seats were actually comfy, so I..."
The seats were actually comfy, so I was happy enough just settling in and relaxing. Weirdly, I remember there was this tiny scratch on the armrest shaped kind of like a lightning bolt, which stuck in my head for no reason. Overall, a comfortable place.

"Not really age appropriate for kids"
I was disappointed with the age rating for the show we chose. It was listed as okay for kids, but some parts felt way too intense for my child, and I spent half the time trying to figure out if we should just leave.
I understand theatre can have big emotions and dramatic moments, but the warnings really should have been clearer before buying tickets. It’s frustrating when you have to dig around or guess whether something is actually suitable, especially after already making the effort to plan the outing, get there, and settle in.
For a children’s theatre, I expected better information for parents. We ended up leaving early, which felt like a waste of time and energy, and I can’t say I’ll be rushing back.

"Buying Tickets Turned Into a Whole Saga"
I tried buying tickets on Children's Theatre, it was way more of an ordeal than I expected. The seating page was moving at a glacial pace, then my order timed out and I had to start over like I was trapped in some ticket-buying nightmare. On top of that, the fees didn’t really become clear until the very end, which was not a fun little surprise. We did finally get the tickets, thank goodness, but the whole process felt clunky, stressful, and unnecessarily dramatic

"My kid lost interest quick"
The site looked okay at first, but my son just didn’t really stay into it. The activites felt kind of flat for him, and he ended up wandering off after a few minutes. Not terrible, just didn’t hold his attention like I hoped.
